Flight delay is one of the most challenging threats to operation air transportation network system. Complex was introduced into research studies on flight delays due its low complexity, high flexibility in model building, and accurate explanation about real world. We surveyed recent progress which makes extensive use complex theory this paper. scanned analyses static temporal evolution, together with identification topologically important nodes/edges. And, we made a clarification relations among robustness, vulnerability, resilience networks. Then, investigated causal relations, propagation modellings, best spreaders identifications delay. Ultimately, future improvements are summarized fourfold. (1) Under Network, relevant subsystems or sublayers discarded by majority available models.
